Braided WorldThis pattern contains NO hand appliqué or curved piecing! Lightweight fusible interfacing is used when sewing all of the circles and arcs. Simply draw the desired shape on the fusible interfacing, place the interfacing and a piece of fabric together, and then sew on the drawn line. Trim around the sewn line and then clip the interfacing and flip the unit inside out. The circle or arc – with all of its edges conveniently turned under – is now ready to be ironed onto the background fabric! Directions are provided for quilt sizes crib, lap, twin, full, queen, and king. It is fun in kids colors too! |
